Dallas photographer lands a photo shoot with Janie Fricke
2008-03-06 21:48:36 (GMT) (Caymanmama.com - Dallas News Featured News)Dallas photographer Kevin Brown recently finished shooting country legend Janie Fricke’s latest album cover in his Fort Worth photography studio. Fricke was CMA Female Vocalist of the Year two years running, in 1982 and 1983.
Though most of Kevin Brown’s photography work is done on-location in Dallas and surrounding cities for corporate clients such as Wyeth Pharmaceutical, Siemens, and Union Pacific Railroad, his Fort Worth photography studio is ideal for shooting actors, models, and the occasional country legend.
“I’ve shot four album covers in the last four years,” Brown says. “But the cover for Janie Fricke is the highest profile album cover I’ve done.” He adds, “Working with Janie Fricke was a joy. She is a true professional.”
In addition to album covers, Dallas photographer Kevin Brown has also shot numerous Annual Report covers. Annual Report photography for Quicksilver Resources, RehabCare Group, and Union Pacific have kept Kevin Brown busy the last few years.
His most recent Annual Report assignment was for Enbridge Energy. Shooting took place in Weatherford, TX at a gas processing plant.
“I’ve done numerous shoots for Enbridge, including two photo shoots in the Gulf of Mexico,” Brown notes.
Dallas photographer Kevin Brown adds, “I love working in the studio, but I also enjoy shooting on location very much.”
His repeated photography work for The State Fair of Texas since 2003 keeps him busy every October shooting thousands of hi-res digital images each year for the largest State Fair in the country.
Kevin Brown has been a professional photographer for more than twenty years and he is still going strong. “I love having a photography studio in Fort Worth, but being known as a Dallas photographer,” Kevin Brown says, “…it’s the best of both worlds.”
