Longtime Gotti loyalist cooperates with FBI

According to defense attorney Harvey Fierstein that met Gotti at KAskman’s company said, “Kasman would carry on like it was some Broadway play with Gotti, for anyone else, would incur Gotti’s wrath.”
Kasman, 50, was John Gotti’s self proclaimed adopted son who drifted from the front page news ever since John Gotti died of cancer in the year 2002. However, according to Federal prosecutors, since 2005, Kasman has been cooperating with FBI as a witness in order to tap numerous other mobsters. However, Prosecutors intend to use Kasman and his evidence in federal court so as to get a controversial attorney disqualified from one of the major mob cases. The lawyer that is aimed at is none other than Joseph Corozzo who represents his father Joseph hailing from a crime family consigleri in the case of Gambino crime family. According to Brooklyn federal attorney, Corozzo was charged as a ‘house counsel’ for the Gambino family and also took an active part in various criminal activities. Corozzo denied his wrongdoings before the defense council. It is believed that Corozzo has never been charged for his criminal activities.
However, as for the wife of John Gotti and her children, this decision of Kasman is a shell shocker as they have viewed Kasman as a family member. Yesterday, it was unclear whether Kasman’s statements are of great importance to anyone except Gambino family members and Corozzo.
