Islamabad: Chief of Pakistani Army, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani briefed the Prime Minister and the leader of the ruling political parties in the country’s security situation. The Defense Minister termed the briefing as informative.

MQM’s inclusion in Federal Cabinet not to be opposed by PML-N despite reservations

Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League (N) one of the major coalition partners in Federal parliament has expressed their opinion that in spite of the reservation they have about MQM, they will not object on their inclusion in the Federal cabinet.

Pakistan warn US against any unilateral action in Pakistani territory

Islamabad: United States have been cautioned by the Pakistani government against carrying any unilateral action inside the Pakistani tribal area. The Foreign office has said that any such action will be irresponsible and dangerous.

Government faces difficulty in extending economic relief package

Islamabad: The new government is finding difficulty in announcing economic relief package to the people of Pakistan earlier than the next budget. The current fiscal year is a difficult year for the country as during this year the country had faced many turmoil’s of erratic law and order situation, high rising prices of oil, credit crunch etc.

Karachi Stock Exchange hits all time high record

Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange jumped to 15,333 points during the days trading session. However the trading day closed at 15, 332.91 points giving a jump of 111.30 points.
