Sanya (China) Visit of President Pervaiz Musharraf to China has been up till now successful. Chinese President Mr. Hu has re-iterated China’s commitment to the all weather friendship between the two countries and appreciated all efforts of the Pakistani President in economic development of Pakistan and in maintaining peace within the country.

Washington: In a interview to local English daily news papar “DAWN” the US Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher said discussion could be held with people in tribal areas of Pakistan who want peace and are will to take steps for betterment and want to reconcile. At the same time he also cautioned about the element that do not want peace and are perusing terrorism.

Sanya (China) (APP) The Prime Minister of Australia, M Kevin Michael Rudd, who is visiting China to attend Boao Forum, met President Pervaiz Musharraf. Mr. Kevin said that he looks forward to work with Pakistan and agreed to continue dialogs between the two countries.

New Delhi: The official from India will be requesting the new Pakistani Government to give a clear picture on Pakistan’s position on Kashmir issue during the Pakistan and India composite dialogs that will start next month.
Karachi Stock Exchange gains 125.97 points
Karachi: On Friday, Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed high volume trading. The index rose by 125.97 points leaving the KSE-100 index at 15,430.89 at the close of the days trading session.
