Islamabad: The EU released its 70 pages report on the February 18th elections. The report indicates that the election process did not extend a level playing field to all the political parties especially the opposition parties in the country. The ruling political party misused the government funds to boost their election campaign.

Washington: The US once again reiterated the fact that Pakistan hold key position in the was against terror and has been instrumental many aspects of the US led war against terror.
Pakistani government to send probe request to UN for Benazir killing case
United Nations: The officials at United Nations have said that they will not be able to comment on the investigation into Benazir Bhutto’s murder until the UN receives a formal request from the Pakistani government. The matter rests until a mandate is obtained from the UN Security Council. Mean while the US State Department has said that the Scotland Yard investigation has answered most of the questions but UN investigation into Benazir Bhutto’s killing will satisfy the quest of people of Pakistan.
Police brutality – Youth killed in police custody
Lahore: Police tortured a youth to death while in custody. The people of the area and the relative of the deceases blocked the road and protested against the incident and against the delay in the arrest of policemen accused of the killing.
Stock continue to climb at Karachi Stock Exchange
Karachi: A record high trading session was recorded at the Karachi Stock Exchange yesterday. The KSE-100 index closed at 15,540.35. During the trading session the index touched its record high of 15, 635.55 points.
