Celebrating farewell for Pope on the last day in US

It was reported that last night, Pope Benedict XVI made his first papal visit to US and asked priests as well as the public ‘to continue bearing joyful witness to Christ our hope’  to encourage their religious life and also asked every American to pray for him bidding farewell at the Kennedy Airport.

The earnest farewell ceremony occurred for a whole day in which 57, 000 believers were gathered at Yankee Stadium to solemn the contemplation of loss at Ground Zero. The abstract of this gathering was to acknowledge people about the important constituent of life that is sorrow, on the other side, the faith is also get transformed when a bit of hope rose among them.

The pontiff said to the enthusiastic 4,000 gatherers to take out them from the darkness, “For all the people of America, and indeed throughout the world, I pray that the future will bring increased fraternity and solidarity, a growth in mutual respect, and a renewed trust and confidence in God, our heavenly Father”. The celebration was done for about 21/2 hours, involving operatic hymns to sung gospel readings along with a “Prayer for the Devotees” in seven languages.
