Tank: After agreeing on the 15 point agreement which is to be signed soon, Baitullah Mehsud has released orders to the Taliban to stop their activities and pull back. The cease fire was order by the Pakistani Taliban Leader through a pamphlet asking the militants to comply with his orders or face punishment.
Ruling parties must resolve their difference on restoration of judiciary
Islamabad: In order to save time and to speed up on the restoration of judiciary issue the ruling political parties must resolve their differences soon. The first inconclusive meeting between Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif paved way for them to meet again on Thursday to conclude the discussion. But the delay in reaching consensus might also delay the tabling of resolution in the National Assembly.
Pakistan to get more financial support for Saudi Arabia
Islamabad: The Saudi Ambassador Ali S. Awadh Asseri that Saudi Arabia looks forward to see a strong, democratic and stable Pakistan. His country will provide necessary financial support to Pakistan.
Iran interested in Pakistan Governments housing schemes
Islamabad: In a meeting with Federal Minister for Housing the Iranian ambassador expressed Iran’s interest in the housing schemes planned by the Pakistani government of Pakistan for government employees and the poor people.
KSE -100 index down but maintain levels of 15,470.14 points
Karachi: Karachi Stock Exchange faces on more day of downward trend. The investors sold there holdings for profit taking. The stocks at the close of the day lost 73.38 points.
