Rehman Malik expresses hope of peace in FATA region soon

Islamabad: Peace negotiations are underway between the government and the troubled tribal areas including Baluchistan. The advisor to the Prime Minister on Internal Affairs, Mr. Rehman Malik expressed hopes to give the country good news very soon. He is also hopeful that Baitullah Mehsud will not back out from the declaration of ceasefire.

PM hosts dinner for commanders and services chiefs

Islamabad: The Prime Minister, Yusuf Raza Gilani hosted a dinner in the lawns of Prime Minister House for formation commander and services chiefs. President Pervaiz Musharraf was present at occasion.

Man killed on charge for spying for the US

Miramshah: In North Waziristan a man was shot to death on suspicion that he had been spying for the US.

Security troops withdrawn from Bugti graveyard

Quetta: The Baluchistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani ordered the troops to vacate the grave yard where Akbar Bugti had been laid to rest and allow the family members to visit his grave. How ever the troops guarding the gas pipelines have not been withdrawn.

Technical correction or hasty sales – Karachi Stock Exchange suffer more decline

Karachi: Stock Exchange of Karachi suffered more decline due to hasty sales by investors. The KSE-100 index closed at 15,304.90.
