Katmandu: (Reuters): By securing 220 seats in the Nepal national assembly Maoists have become the largest political party of the country. The new assembly will draft a new constitution for the country and repeal the 240 year old rule of monarchy.

Blast kills 25 and injures 70 in Sri Lanka

Colombo: The Sri Lankan government blamed Tamil Tigers for killing of 25 people and injuring 70 in bomb blast yesterday. The bomb exploded in a bus stand 17 kilometers southeast of Colombo.
