Lahore: Asif Zardari’s delay in returing to the country on Sunday has sparked some controversies in the political setup. Mian Shahbaz Sharfi and some PNL-(N) members have left to Dubai to meet Mr. Zardari and explain to him the urgency of finalizing the issue of restoration of judiciary. As time is of essence and the dead line set in the Bhurban declaration is approaching the coalition parties should finalize and table the resolution soon.
Gas pipeline blows in Baluchistan – Rehman Malik orders inquiry
Islamabad: (APP) The advisor to the PM on interior, Mr. Rehman Malilk has asked the government of Baluchistan to initiate full scale inquiry into the incident of blowing up the gas pipe line and bring to the culprits to task.
Attack on Afghan President condemned by Pakistan Prime Minister
Islamabad: Pakistan PM, Yusuf Raza Gilani has condemned the acts of violence and the attack on the Afghan President, Mr. Hamid Karzai, that was carried out on the ceremony of the 16 anniversary of victory of Mujahideen in Afghanistan.
Turkey deports 49 Pakistani illegal immigrants
Rawalpindi: 49 Pakistanis, illegal immigrants arrived in Islamabad, yesterday after being deported from Turkey. FIA has taken them into custody for investigations.
Misappropriation of funds in Women Ministry
Islamabad: During the audit of Gender Reform Action Plan, the audit committee found out misappropriation of funds. Under Gender Reform program fund were allocated to equally among 111 districts. Only 44 districts confirmed receipt of funds
