Islamabad: After Wednesday’s meetings that remain nonconclusive the leaders of the coalition parties decided to meet on Thursday for the final a decisive round of talks. The 30 days deadline has lapsed and all eyes of the nation are fixed on the decision by the coalition parties.

Chaudhry Shujaat refuses to join hand with PPP if Nawaz Sharif quits the coalition

Islamabad: President Musharraf met Chaudhry Shuajaat met yesterday to discuss the political situation of the country. The President asked him to join the PPP led coalition government if Pakistan Muslim League led by Nawaz Sharif decides to quit. Chaudhry Shujaat assured the President of his continued support but refused to join hands with PPP.

Major share for MQM in Sindh government

Karachi: MQM get 13 ministries in the Sindh government. The two faced leaders ship of MQM, in a press conference said that ministries are not of importance for the party and that they have accepted the portfolios in the spirit of reconciliation. The coalition of PPP and MQM seems to be on the formula of “You scratch my back I scratch yours”.

Pakistan does not have any links with attack on Afghan President

Islamabad: The allegations that attack of the Hamid Karzai the President of Afghanistan has roots in the tribal areas of Pakistan are baseless and an attempt of damaging Afghanistan Pakistan relationship, says the Chief Military Spokesman.

194.83 points lost in a day in Karachi Stock Exchange

Karachi: The trading at the Karachi Stock Exchange was overshadowed by the uncertain political situation in the country. The KSE-100 index lost 194.83 points. The Karachi Stock Exchange Index closed at 15,122.47.
