Though Uma Thurman might have been comfortable while she played the role of a bride in “Kill Bill” in which she was shot in head in the initial few scenes, the threat in real life about decapitation, suicide, open graves and razor blades in emails and letters sent to her by a madman from Maryland surely overwhelmed her in panic and fear, she commented in Manhattan yesterday.

In moments which seem to be a melodrama in a vintage courtroom, the actress expressed to the jury of the State Supreme Court how Jack Jordan’s actions terrified her for more than two years.

He has tried to have a talk with her in the period that extended from 2005 to September 2007, when a charge brought upon him was confirmed.

On November 8, 2005, during a Soho photi shoot, a disturbing card was sent by Jordan to Thurman in the makeup trailer. The postcard contained several crossed-out writing with a few words that read “my hands should be on your body.”

Thurman, 38, refused to take a look at Jordan as she verified the charge made by her for around three hours in Jordan’s aggravated and stalking harassment trial.
