Sydney: (AFP) Nephrologist Gavin Carney, the Australian kidney specialist said that sale of organs should be legalized in Australia. This would help the people searching for kidney to buy them locally instead of traveling or finding a source in developing country’s black market.

Jerusalem: (Reuters) Head of Palestine and Israel have decided to meet and speed up the discussion to reach peaceful solutions before the US presidents visit to Israel which is due before the end of May.

Prisoners in Saudi jail die after setting mattresses on fire

Riyadh: At least 7 prisoners died due to the fire that broke out in Saudi jail. It is believed that the prisoners were protesting against the jail condition and had set a mattress on fire. 16 people suffocated out of which 7 died in the hospital while they were bring treated.

Japan to allow foreign workers to stay long term

Tokyo: (AFP) The fall in the birth rate in Japan has forced the government to reform is immigration plans. The government is now planning to help the foreign workers to stay long term and is also rehashing its training programs which include language training.

New Delhi (Reuters) The world is seeing an outburst of anger from Indian political leaders after President Bush commented that the world food prices have rising due to increasing demand of food in India. India’s Junior Trade Minister Jairam Ramesh remarked that Bush has been known for his limited knowledge in Economics and he has once again proved it by blaming India for rising prices of food.
