Iron Man’s Terrence Howard
2008-05-08 16:53:46 (GMT) (Caymanmama.com - Entertainment News)New York (CaymanMama.com) — It seems that actor, Terrence Howard is on a dream run as he is acting in the biggest superhero flick “Iron Man” and has won rave reviews for his role in “Cat on a Hot Roof.” When asked about his acting career and his first substantial role, he bitterly says, “I wouldn’t have done it; I would have stayed true to what I initially wanted to do.” When asked further he said that he wanted to sing.
At the age of 39 years, Howard is planning to make a debut with soft rock and pop tunes this fall where he and his co-writer have written tunes. The musical influences have been Jim Croce, Simon and Garfunkel and Carpenters. Howard said, “This has been my dream forever. I just want to go on the road with it,” while sorting through through CDs at Virgin Megastore in Times Square.
In “Iron Man”, Howard plays the role of Rhodey, the military man and best friend of Tony Stark. Howard’s big break came in “The Jacksons: The American Dream” where he played the role of Jackie, the elder brother of Michael Jackson. Well Howard recounts it has his biggest mistake as he got “sidetracked.”
