San Antonio, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — Public rage has now spread over the Sean Bell verdict in the whole of New York City and the protesters have created havoc by blocking the movement of traffic along tunnels and bridges. Protestors have given arrests openly leading to more than 200 arrests in the place.

They assembled at 3 p.m. before the police headquarters on the Red Brick plaza and were led by the 64 year old aunt of the deceased Sean Bell, Gloria Porter who is working as an education secretary in the New Haven city in Connecticut. She raged her protest against the verdict in the alleged shooting case of her nephew by saying that she will fight against it and has the support of the Almighty on her side. She showed a very strong grit and determination and said that she will not give up and definitely bend before God and pray.

The protestors were headed by the Reverend Al Sharpton to the Brooklyn Bridge who was accompanied by Bell’s fiancée and his close pals Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield. Renee Collymore, a woman from Brooklyn, who attended a protest organised near the Holland Tunnel supported the protest by saying that it was not a racial thing to be against the verdict but it was done on humanitarian grounds.
