“Survivor” Host Probst discusses show
2008-05-12 14:49:53 (GMT) (Caymanmama.com - Entertainment News)New York, New York (CaymanMama.com) — One cannot associate Jeff Probst along with skyscrapers and sirens and is definitely mismatched in New York. Certainly, after hosting 16 seasons of ‘Survivor’ since 2000, Probst is more identifiable with the wilderness. While in Manhattan, Jeff Probst was quite impatient about the final episode of ‘Survivor: Micronesia’ whose final episode will be shown Sunday 8p.m. EDT at Ed Sullivan Theater in Broadway. According to Probst, “This has been a season of blind-sides and dumb moves. We’ve had a really strong women’s alliance for the first time. We’ve had people out with injuries. A woman lost her mind.”
By Sunday, with 29 castaways divided into teams of ‘Survivor’ veterans and fans, the competitors will be competing for the grand prize of $1 million that goes to sole survivor. Once this episode ends, the ‘Survivor’ series starts all again with its new episodes. For all those who wish to know the new host of upcoming ‘Survivor’ series, Jeff Probst has signed fresh four seasons.
Talking about the ‘Survivor’ series seasons, Probst stated, “It was a show I was certain would be over after three would be good, two would be better, three would fail but we’d still get paid.” Well, it seems that Jeff is on a dream run with his successful career as the host of ‘Survivor’ series.
