80 people killed in Jaipur bomb blast

Jaipur: (AFP) The North Indian city of Jaipur was rocked by series of bomb blasts killing 80 people. The acts of terrorism in the historic city of Jaipur were condemned by the government followed by requests to the locals to remain calm.

Pakistan received $500,000 for arrest of a Canadian linked with Al-Qaeda

Ottawa: A Canadian National who has been in custody for some years now has been handed over to United States. Abdullah Khadr is believed to have links with Al-Qaeda and he is charged with selling gun and rockets to the militants. Charges levied on him include the charge of conspiring against the American in Afghanistan. Pakistan military officials received a sum of $500,000 by the US as reward to his arrest.

Arab world would sever ties with Iran – says Saudi Arabia

Riyadh (AFP): If Iran is directly supporting the coup of Lebanon, the Arab world’s relations with Iran might get affected. This was said by Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal.
