Many of the product you see in the Best Buy’s and Walmart’s of the world ship from Duplium Corporation in Carrollton, Texas and Toronto, Canada. “I wouldn’t really consider myself a product salesman,” Jeff states. “I’m more of a delivery solution. Duplium Corporation brings a great full service offering under one roof. We manufacture optical media (CDS/DVDS) in house, we print in house, we kit and assembly in house, and we warehouse, fulfill, and distribute under that same roof.”
Jeff believes this gives Duplium an advantage because it consolidates suppliers for its customers and avoids any unnecessary costs in freight before product is shipping to its final destination. “When I speak to people I don’t speak to them about the cost of their disc or their package or their assembly fee, I talk to them about what is the overall cost of getting your product on the shelf. Sometimes it gets frustrating trying to get people to see big picture and not isolate the cost of a disc or the cost of a box, but those who do understand and can see big picture find us to be a great solution.”
Jeff and Duplium work with some great brands in the software and hardware marketplace, and they have recently opened up a new 75,000 square feet of warehouse to continue to grow into this market. “What I like about selling a delivery solution,” Jeff states, “is that there will always be a need for it. Optical discs will come and go, but product delivery is here for the long haul.”
