High rising food prices affect 22 African countries

Rome (AFP): Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) report released on Wednesday states that 22 countries mostly African are hard hit by the rising fuel and food prices. The countries that are name include Burundi, Tajikistan, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Zambia, the Central African Republic, Mozambique, Tanzania, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Malawi, Cambodia, North Korea, Rwanda and Kenya.

New Delhi: India unfiltered cigarette smokers face life threat. About 100 million smokers in India smoke unfiltered hand rolled cigarettes called bidis. The report released on Thursday state that the unfiltered cigarettes reduce the life span of people by about 2 decades.
