UN Summit in Rome aimed in over coming trade barrier
Rome (Reuters): The 3 day summit in Rome with 183 countries participating ended with a commitment of overcoming the trade barriers and helping the financially drained farming sector. The summit discussed reasons of poor harvest and issues relating to high rising fuel prices and high rising demand of food especially from the growing Asian countries.
Price of oil reaches all time high level
New York: Oil prices peaked at $138 per barrel yesterday. The reports speculate that by July oil prices can reach a price level of $150 per barrel.
Israel prepares to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities
Jerusalem (Reuters): Terming all sanctions on Iran as ineffective, one of the deputy of Prime Minister Olmert said that Israeli attack on Iran might be “unavoidable”. He said “If Iran continues with its programme for developing nuclear weapons, we will attack it. The sanctions are ineffective,” Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz told the mass-circulation Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

Patan (Reuters): Thousands of poor were fed for 2 days by a rich Indian widow who lives in Eastern state of Bihar. The 80 years old lady named Phulhraria Kuwar spent $37,000 on meals for poor in her attempt to find place in heaven.
