World protests spark against high oil prices

Madrid: Asia and Europe are the continents badly hit by the high fuel prices. In India, Nepal and Hong Kong protesters marched in protest. In other countries like Spain, France etc people supported such protests, while French, Spanish and Portuguese truck drivers went on strike.

Iran might face more sanction – Warning issued by US and Europe

Brdo (Slovenia) (Reuters): If Iran continues with its nuclear enrichment program, Europe and the US might slap more sanction. The US President, told newsmen that “A group of countries can send a clear message to the Iranians, and that is: We’re going to continue to isolate you … we’ll find new sanctions if need be, if you continue to deny the ‘just demands’ of the free world, which is to give up your enrichment program

Top military trainers likely to reach Afghanistan – Pakistan mountainous region

Washington: (AP): Admiral Mullen, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is pressing hard in the need to send military trainers in the Pakistan Afghanistan mountainous region to help train Pakistani men to fight the terrorists. The region full of mountains is suspected to be the hiding place for Al-Qaeda leader. The US also believes that the next attack on the US soil is being planned from this region.

Sudanese airplane carrying 200 passengers burst into flames during landing

Khartoum: 100 passengers died in the Sudanese airplane crash. The aircraft carrying 200 passengers took off from Syria burst into flames during the landing process. It skidded off the runway.

Criminal case against ‘Internews’ dropped by Russia

Moscow (AFP): The case against the local head of the US media traininers – Internews has been closed. The Russian lawyers confirmed that the high profile case against Manana Aslamazian has been closed.
