Oil output to be increase by Saudi Arabia in wake of heightening demand

Jeddah: (AFP) To put a check on the rising oil prices, Saudi Arabia has agreed to increase its oil production. The UN Chief after meeting the Saudi official said that the Kingdom had increased its production by 300,000 barrels in June and the production oil will be increase by 200,000 barrels in the month of July.

Asian inflation may rise above 5.1 – ADB Managing Director

Kuala Lumpur (AFP) Raising his concern over rising fuel and food prices, the managing director of Asian Development Bank said that as per projections the inflation in Asia would be 5.1 percent by April 2008. The ADB is revising its projections and feel that the inflation rate would be mush higher than projected earlier.
