Big bucks for Holmes on Broadway

El Paso, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — The Broadway curtain awaits the debut of Katie Holmes on September18th. This was announced by Eric Falkenstein who revives Arthur Miller’s “All my Sons”, which stars the wife of Tom Cruise and former star of “Dawson’s Creek.” The Broadway production will also showcase stars like Patrick Wilson, Dianne West and John Lithgow. The show begins on October 16 in Gerald Schoenfled Theatre.

“All my Sons” is a tale about Joe Keller, a business man who supplies defective cylinders equipments to the military that leads to the death of more than twenty pilots in the Second World War. However, it was the business partner of Joe Keller who is imprisoned by mistake. The role of Keller’s wife is played by Weist and Wilson will play their son and Katie Holmes will play the role of disgraced partner who is the fiancé of Keller’s son. The director of the series is Simon McBurney.

The price of tickets for “All my Sons” will be more in comparison to a play. The price for evening performances will be $116.50 for the matinee shows that for both Saturday as well as Sunday. However, the price for Wednesday Matinee will be charged at $111.50. Well, in terms of price, the price of “All my Sons” is same as that of “Equus” that starred Richard Griffiths and Daniel Radcliffe. Both “Equus” and “All my Sons” will be charging around $251.50 as a part of premium tickets however, the price of the tickets will be higher during festivities like Christmas and Thanksgiving that will cost around $301.50.

However, for comparison’s sake, the price for “August: Osage County” was $110 while it was adjudged the best Broadway play for the year while receiving Tony Award 2008. On the other hand, the price for the tickets of “Boeing-Boeing” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” were $99.50 and $96.50 respectively.
