New York (APP): Nuclear facilities of Iran are facing the threat of possible attack by Israel. Israel has started practicing and carried in out major military exercise. Over a hundred F-15 & F-16 fighter planes took part in the exercises carried over eastern Mediterranean and over Greece in the first week of June.

Tehran: (AFP) Iran promised sever consequences if Israel and the US tried any force to destroy Iran’s nuclear assets.
World Refugee Survey names Thailand, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh and China as violators of Refugee rights
United Nations (AFP): US committee for Refugee and Immigrants released their survey report of 2008 on the World Refugee Day. The report names of India, Malaysia, Thailand, China and Bangladesh along side Iraq, Kenya, Russia, Sudan and Europe as worlds top 10 worst places for refugees.
Afghanistan to get Russian weapons
Moscow: (AFP): The US and the Russia have principally agreed to provide Russian weapons to Afghanistan. The agreement was reached between the two countries under United States – Russia Working Group on Counter terrorism.
Headscarved Muslim women not allowed in group picture with Obama
Washington: Religion becomes the basis for discrimination in the US. Muslim women wearing head scarf were not allowed to be photographed in the group photo session with the democratic presidential candidate Barrak Obama.
Obama, however, personally called these women and apologized for such act.
