New Delhi: During the meeting of Foreign ministers of Pakistan and India the ministers announced to start 5th round of dialogs on the 21st of July. The peace dialogs between both the countries are being backed by the ruling political parties and the opposition parties of the countries.
Pakistani Government all set to combat terrorists in NWFP
Islamabad: The chief of army staff, General Kayani met the President and discussed the issues concerning the operation the army and the Frontier Constabulary are preparing to undertake. The Prime of Minister of Pakistan, Yousuf Raza Gilani also send a strong message to the provincial government to tackle terrorists and extremists with full force.
Judges issue to be resolved at the earliest
Islamabad: The human rights Chief of the United Nation during her visit to Pakistan met the top level government officials including the President and the Prime Minister. She stressed on the need of resolution of judiciary issue which is consuming the mental capacity of the new government in tackling other important issues of the country.
Pakistani government’s decision to fight militancy pleases the US
Washington: Robert Gates, the US defense secretary, welcomed the move of the government of Pakistan in tackling militancy by empowering the army and the provincial government to launch military action in the troubled region. He said this will also help the US in defeating terrorism.
Karachi Stock Exchange sheds 99 points
Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange faced a dull day yesterday. The KSE-100 index fell to a seven years low. The index fell by 99 points leaving the index at 12,353.19 points
