US worried about over political situation of Pakistan

Islamabad: Mr. Boucher who is on a short 3 days visit to Pakistan has much to sort out. He met the PM, Chief of Army Staff and PM’s advisor on Internal Affairs, to discuss the situation in the tribal areas and also to discuss the silent rift between the coalition partners. Mr. Boucher will also meet the chief of PML-N, Mr. Nawaz Sharif today.

Islamabad (APP): The government of Pakistan has placed a ban in 3 religious cum terrorist outfits operating in the Khyber Agency. The groups Ansar-ul-lslam, Lashkar-i-lslam and the Haji Namdar group have been banned under Anti - terrorists act.

US visitors warned against any irrational and unjustified attack on Pakistani soil

Islamabad: The President of Pakistan told the 5 member visiting team from the US that the country will not tolerate any US led Nato attack on Pakistan’s soil. The US congressional delegation was told that the attack from Afghanistan border that had resulted in the killing of several locals and the military men has caused anger in the people of Pakistan

Bara and Khyber Agency operation must be stopped – urge the tribal elders

Islamabad: Calling the operation in Khyber agency as the operation against its own people, the elders of the tribal areas of Khyber Agency have urged the government to stop the operation immediately and make positive efforts to achieve negotiated results.

Karachi stock exchange index off by 64.16 points

Karachi: The market on Monday opened with a sluggish note. The trading session hit the lowest with the turnover being as low as 11.485 million shares. The market recovered in the later half of the day with the trading of scripts of banking and gas companies. The KSE-100 index closed at 12,289.03 with the decline of 64.16 points
