Internet photos ruin the career of beauty queen

Portland, Oregon (CaymanMama.com) — After a public wave of embarrassment, Elyse Umemoto, the second runner up of the last year’s Miss America beauty pageant and the winner in the Miss Washington pageant, declared that she is apologetic of the online pictures that were taken of her in revealing positions. She declared her statement in a press conference, which was organized in Tacoma, Washington.

As reported by the new Miss Washington, the pictures were easily accessible on the Internet were actually stolen from her. She also declared that they were stolen by an acquaintance and that she trusted that person. But after seeing her pictures in those embarrassing poses, Umemoto immediately reported the case as an electronic theft to the local police so that necessary actions could be taken against the culprit.

Umemoto also reported that she is feeling very sorry that the pictures were available on the Internet due to the fact that they brought embarrassment to the organization which hosted the Miss Washington beauty pageant. She even said that those pictures represent what she actually is and what her true nature is.

Umemoto said the pictures were taken approximately two years before the beauty contest was held. The winner mentioned that the photos were taken in a private place and they reveal her playing around. Some pictures show Umemoto in a tiara, playing games and showing her middle finger to the camera.

Although the people who organized the contest reported that they felt awful and embarrassed when they saw the pictures, Umemoto has been given a week’s time to give back the crown to the winner of the pageant that will be organized in the coming week.
