Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani after getting go ahead from his God Father, Asif Ali Zardari during the meeting between the two in Dubai has finally moved ahead with expansion in federal cabinet and with the appointments of chairmen of standing committees. He has contacted Mian Nawaz Sharif and Asfandyar Wali to finalized assignment of portfolios for the federal ministries.

New York (AP): After receiving a nod from United Nation that an independent commission will be set up by the United Nation for an inquiry into Benazir Bhutto’s murder, the foreign minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, after reaching Washington that “The point is we do not want to make premature allegations, because we want an impartial, independent inquiry, We cannot jump to conclusions before the investigation is started”
Suicide bomber killed and 4 injured in Dera Ismail Khan
Dera Ismail Khan: A suicide bomber blew himself off, injuring 4 other people in vicinity. A young man, with small beard died when he pulled the trigger on the bomb belt that he wore, he died instantly after the blast, while his body remained intact. The incident took place near the conference center where the death anniversary proceeding of those who had died in other such explosions was in progress.
Benazir’s killing probe by UN criticized by PML-Q
Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League leader Musahahid Hussain severely criticized Pakistan Peoples Party’s move of probe by UN into Benazir Bhutto’s killing. While speaking to newsmen he said that it is the incompetence and no trust of the ruling party on state institution that have led them the seek help of foreign sources into former Prime Minister’s killing.
All Pakistan Textile Mills association call off strick
Islamabad: After the ministers promised to look into 68% hike in gas tariff, the textile big wigs breathed a sign of relief. The medium and small sized textile unit owners, however, are not satisfied with the move of APTMA of calling off Friday’s call for shut down of textile manufacturing units.
