Britney Spears to enjoy more time with sons, pays greater support

As per the order of the court, Spears must increase child support payments. As a part of the custody settlement that was agreed to on Friday, it has been set at $5,000 per month.
Under the terms of the deal that which was approved by Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, Spears is to pay roughly $20,000 per month to her former husband. She will also pay Federline’s $250,000 legal bill to his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.
According this custody agreement, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, remain in the custody of Federline, but her rights of visitation have been increased. The agreement calls for Spears to have her children for two overnight visits every week to begin this fall. Laura Wasser, Spears’ attorney, said that she was “at peace” with the settled agreement. She also added, “She couldn’t be happier about it, actually, she’s going to see her kids more.”
Spears currently has monitored visits with the toddlers three days and one night every week. Spears, 26, lost the custody of the kids last year when her behavior became erratic. After she was hospitalized in January for her psychiatric problems, and the court appointed Spears’ father, Jamie as her conservator and the conservator of her estate.
Kaplan, Kevin’s lawyer did not return any call seeking comment yet he told the City News Service that, “It’s a great relief [for Kevin] to have this two-year ordeal behind him.” this agreement averts trial in the coming august. Wasser, Britney’s lawyer said that the negotiations were concerned with the money and Spears’ visitation rights and not the custody of the children by Kevin Federline. she said,” We would never have sought a modification of legal or physical custody while she’s under the conservatorship”.
