LaBeouf not faulty for automobile accident

Los Angeles, California (CaymanMama.com) — It has been determined by Los Angeles authorities that the accident involving actor Shia LaBeouf was not the actor’s fault. The spokesman for the Sheriff, Steve Whitmore, reported that detectives found that the other driver had apparently ran a red light. Whitmore also said that the ‘Transformers’ star was not guilty of causing the accident.

LaBeouf was arrested on Sunday morning after he was suspected to be drunk driving which caused an accident injuring his knee and hand. LeBeouf was trying to take a left turn at the intersection of West Hollywood when another vehicle collided with his pickup, rolling it over. The 22-year old actor was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle and the female passenger in LaBeouf’s truck were not seriously injured.

LaBeouf was the star of ‘Transformers’, the smash hit of last summer and this season, he is appearing in ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ opposite Harrison Ford. Earlier, he had some minor brushes with the law but he has proved to be quite harmless which has reinforced his image of a Hollywood good guy.

Last year, a confrontation with security guards at Walgreens in Chicago, Illinois while he was drunk led to criminal trespassing charges and a misdemeanour against LeBeouf. The policemen who arrested him noted that he was very polite and courteous and dropped the charges against him as the drugstore did not want to carry forward with the matter.
