Washington: The news after the PM visits to Washington is not encouraging. The high ups in the US including the President of the United States are disappointed by the remote controlled Prime Minister of Pakistan who failed to generate perception in the United State that he was the right man who could be trusted and depended upon.
Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India to meet on Saturday
Colombo: Foreign minister of Pakistan and India met in Colombo to chalk out plan for the meeting between the PM of both the countries on Saturday. The meeting will take place at the side like of SARAC summit in Colombo. According to AFP after the meeting Shah Mehmud Qureshi told the reporters that “talks with Mukherjee had helped “clear the air” between the two countries.“A lot of steam had been let out of the pressure cooker. The dish we’re going to cook is going to be for the betterment of the region.”
Pakistan government condemns bombing at Pakistani consulate in Herat - Afghanistan
Herat (Reuters) A bomb fitted in a bicycle blew off outside the Pakistani consulate in the city of Herat. 3 people include a woman and a child got injured. Foreign Ministry of Pakistan strongly condemned the bombing and said that government of Afghanistan is responsible of Pakistani personnel at the Pakistani embassy and consulates in cities of Afghanistan and must take this responsibility seriously.
Asif Ali Zardari’s meeting agenda with PML-N chief discussed at Zardari House
Islamabad: The looming crisis between the ruling coalition forced Asif Ali Zardari to take a serious note of the situation. He called a meeting of ministers at Zardari House yesterday to discuss the issue of restoration of deposed judges and finalize the agenda for his forthcoming meeting with Nawaz Sharif – chief of Pakistan Muslim League – N.
Profit taking lead to plunge in KSE-100 index by 269 points
Karachi: Uncertainty at the political front forced to investors to sell their holdings. The KSE-100 index went down by 269.44 point and stood at 10,583.58 as the investors sold the holding to reap profits at the available margins.
