Pakistan Muslim League Ministers to rejoin Federal Cabinet

Islamabad: Following the accord signed between the coalition partners to impeach the president, Pakistan Muslim League has accepted the request of the PPP office bearers by nominating 4 out of 9 ministers to rejoin the federal cabinet. These ministers will resume their offices on Saturday.

‘Musharraf will have to go’ says Raza Rabbani of PPP

Islamabad: Replying to the allegation levied by the opposition Mr. Raza Rabbai, leader of the Senate assured the senate members that the process of impeachment of the president will be fare and the ruling coalition will not resort to any unfair practice. Mr. Rabbani said “The requirements of the Constitution and law will be followed.”

Clashes between two groups continue – 10 killed in Kurran agency

Parachanar: After exchange of heavy gun fire 10 people died and over 17 people were injured. According to the local people security forced had to intervene and attack the hide outs of the groups to force them to stop fighting.

Governments delay in renegotiating gas price causes Rs.30 billion loss to the national exchequer

Islamabad: Rs.30 billion will be lost this year due to the government’s inability to renegotiate the price of gas with the producers of gas. This negligence or what can be termed as reluctance by the government officials to acts on time will cost consumers an additional Rs.6.00 per unit of gas.

The Karachi Stock Exchange surges up by 202.16 points

Karachi: Due to the active short covering supported by the equity support fund the stock exchange of Karachi show an upsurge in the trading index. The KSE-100 index rose by 202.16 points taking the index to 9,909.45 points.
