US warns Russia on military operation in Georgia

United Nation: From the platform of the UN. The US warned Russia that continuing of the military operations inside Georgia would harm the US - Russian relationship. The US ambassador to the UN stated “I urge the Russian Federation to carefully consider implications of this aggression against the sovereign and democratic state of Georgia.”

Solana , Jalili to continue talks on Iran nuclear issue

Tehran (AFP): Chief nuclear negotiator of Iran, Saeed Jalili and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana agreed to continue talks with EU on Iran’s nuclear program, which Iran maintains is for peaceful purpose.

King Abdullah II of Jordan visit Iraq after US invasion

Baghdad (AFP): First ever visit of Iraq after 2003 by an Arab leader took place when King Abdulllah II of Jordan started in visit to Iraq on Monday. He met the Iraqi PM, Nuri Al Maliki.

Pagan Temples found below Byzantine church in Israel

Jerusalem (AFP): Hebrew University in Jerusalem, yesterday disclosed that they have found remain of Pagan temples below the Byzantine church. Byzantine church was discovered by the archeologists earlier when they had started digging Zippori National park.

Indian security forces open fire on protestors

New Delhi: As 250,000 Kashmiris march towards the LOC, the Indian security forces opened fire, killing 5 people including the leader of Hurriyat Conference Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
