Dallas, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — Sue Ellen, Bobby, J.R. and the rest of the Ewing clan are getting together once again for a reunion party in Dallas. The members of the cast of the popular soap opera ‘Dallas’ which ran from 1978 to 1991 are returning on November 8th 2007 to Southfork Ranch in North Dallas to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary. Several main actors including Linda Gray, Patrick Duffy and Larry Hagman have given their confirmation to attend the party.

Hagman who had played the central character of JR Ewing, a cattle rancher and scheming oil baron, said that he has been looking forward to attend the event. Hagman, 76,  said that he might not attend the 40th anniversary but 30 years are good enough and the show is still popular. The reunion will be open to the general public and the tickets will be available for sale on August 22nd. The cost will be somewhere from $100 to $1,000. Fireworks, a question and answer session, a music concert and tours of mansion will be part of the event.

The show was been best known for ‘who shot J.R.?’ which concluded the season of 1979-80 in which Hagman’s character had been shot. The shooter turned out to be Kristin, the sister-in-law of J.R. Ewing. ‘Dallas’ featured antics of a rich Texan clan which punched, drank, slapped, schemed and cavorted for gaining control of the family wealth. The reunion is expected to be much tamer.

Bobby Ewing, played by Duffy, said in a newspaper that Larry and he are going to have a bowl of Mueslix and prune juice shot and will go to bed by 9 pm. He said that they would allow people to file by their bed and watch them to go to their sleep. He said that he thinks they can hang out with best out there until midnight.
