Taliban continue to kill innocent people in Pakistan
Texila / Rawalpindi: Tehrik - i - Taliban claimed responsibility of 2 massive suicide bomb blasts targeting military installations in Pakistan. The bombers ended up killing 70 people and leaving 67 injured at an arms factory in Wah Cantt - Rawalpindi. Most of them who got killed were civilian workers. A successful bombing of which Baitullah Mehsud proudly accepts responsibility. The question arises whether these people (killers) are human being, Muslims who take pride in killing Muslims or they working on agenda given to them by someone else.
Zardari being nominated as Presidential candidate by Pakistan People’s Party
Karachi: Pakistan People’s party’s Punjab and Sindh branches agreed to nominate co-chairman of the PPP, Mr, Asif Ali Zardari to run for the position of the President of the country. The resolution adapted by the parliamentary party will be presented in the party’s central executive committee today.
Criminal investigations against Zardari in Switzerland still underway
New York: Cases against Zardari in Switzerland are still open. The couple, the late Ms. Bhutto and her husband Zardari have known to dash away kick backs received from Swiss companies back when Ms. Bhutto was the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif had instigated these cases during his term of premiership and provided help to Swiss government providing proof the of corruption. The cases are still open. Mr. Zardari claims that the cases filed against him inside and outside Pakistan were politically motivated.
