Faryal Talpur - member Pakistan Peoples Party, as a covering candidate for Asif Ali Zardari
Pakistan’s Law Minister, Farooq Naek submitted the nomination papers of Asif Ali Zardari.
Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui - Pakistan Muslim League (N)
Roedad Khan - covering candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N)
Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed - Presidential candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q)
The election commission of Pakistan will scrutinize the nomination by the 28th of this month and the candidates will be allowed to withdraw their nomination until August 30, 2008. The election commission of Pakistan will issue the final list of Presidential candidate on August 30th.
