Havana (Agencies) Gustav rained terror on Cuba with winds blowing at 145 mph. The residents of Pinar del Rio ad Isle of Youth residents saw full day of rain and gusts of winds blowing across Cuba blowing away high tension towers and roofs of the entire towns.

Residents of New Orleans have started to move out as Gustav has turned itself to New Orleans, a coastal town that has still not fully recovered from the after effects of Hurricane Katrina

Muslim in Srinagar - Indian held Kashmir, continue protesting against governments accord with Hindus

Srinagar (AP): Muslim Srinagar started protesting once again as the government entered in an agreement with Hindus for allowing Hindu pilgrims to use the land near an important Hindu temple temporarily. Muslims rejected the agreement and vowed to continue their protests.

Interim peace deal rejected by the Palestinians

Jerusalem (AP): The shortest meeting between the heads of states of Israel and Palestine was held in Sunday. Both the leaders came out without any significant headway towards a peace deal. The Palestinian side rejected the offer of partial peace saying that “We want an agreement to end the (Israeli) occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Nato should review relations with Moscow says British Prime Minister

London (Reuters) British newspaper Sunday’s Observer quoted Prime Minister Gordon Brown saying that Russia has been warned of a determined response in EU meeting to be held on Monday. He also said that Nato should review its relations with Russia after the military action Russia has taken in Georgia

‘Enough is Enough’ - Mexican protestors urge the President to fulfill his promise

Mexico City (Reuters): Protestors, more than 150,000 in numbers marched to Zocalo Square protesting against the rising rate of crime including kidnapping and murders in Mexico. During their protests the protesters urged the President of the country to fulfill his promise to rooting out crimes.
