Dr. James Schwade, CEO of the Florida Based Morse Cyberknife Centers, is Honored by the Biomedical Department of the University of Miami for Generous Contributions to Program that Provides Funding for Graduate Students

Miami, Florida, (CaymanMama.com) — August 28, 2008- Earlier this week, the University of Miami’s Biomedical Engineering Department gave recognition to Dr. James Schwade, CEO of the Florida based Morse Cyberknife Centers, for his generous contributions to their graduate student program. Schwade is an Industrial Partner of the program, and has provided an estimated $50,000 in assistance over the last two years. The act is stated to be an example of his long-range dedication to helping improve the circumstances for cancer patients, and making huge strides for the advancement of medicine.

Recognizing a Pioneer in His Field

Dr. Schwade is deemed a pioneer in the development of cancer treatment solutions, with years of experience working with image guided radiosurgery technology. Image guided radiosurgery enables patients to receive high doses of radiation with better precision and accuracy than other methods used to eliminate malignant tumors and lesions. Dr. Schwade’s years of research, hard work, and dedication has provided newfound hope for numerous patients across the globe. His donations to the university’s Biomedical Engineering Program will be instrumental in helping several students receive a quality education to achieve their goals in the biomedical engineering field.
