Tribal clashed in Northern Pakistan leave 95 dead and 200 injured

Parachinar: The row between two tribes in Kurram Agency resulted in the death of 95 people. 200 were injured. The Turi and Bangash tribes fought each other due to disputes amongst them. In spite of announcement of truce the fighting continued on Sunday that resulted in heavy loss of lives.

Political vision of Zardari has forced a dictator to step down

Quetta: While speaking to the media, the Prime Minister of Pakistan said that it was the political vision of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari that forced Musharraf to step down from Presidency. He was visiting Baluchistan to meet the members of Parliament. Mr. Gilani is seeking votes for Mr. Zardari for the position of President of Pakistan.

Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment engineer missing

Islamabad (AFP): Two Chinese engineer along with the security guard and the driver went missing near Pakistan Afghanistan boarder. The official stated that they had sent 3 teams to investigate to learn about their whereabouts. The senior police official Khurshid Khan said “We don’t know whether someone has kidnapped them, they have lost their way or met an accident, because it is a mountainous area.”

People from Bajaur refuse to return to the homes

Islamabad: People who fled there homes due to heavy firing between the Muslim militants and the security forces of Pakistan have refused to return to their homes. In spite of truce offered by the government of Pakistan for the month of Ramazan, people fear that the fighting might continue.

Pakistan seeks fast return of Afghan refuges to their homeland

Islamabad: The slow return of Afghans to their home land is a point of concern for the Pakistani government. The tripartite commission met on Sunday to discuss this issue on Sunday.

The government official have reported to have told the Afghan officials and the UN refugee agency that it has become difficult for Pakistan to shelter Afghan refugees further due to the involvement of the Afghan National in across the country terrorist activities.
