US Presidential hopeful, Obama, for more attacks inside Pakistan

Washington: Obama, during an interview to the Fox News said that US must intensify ground attacks inside Pakistani territory. He said “We are providing them military aid without having enough strings attached. So they’re using the military aid … they’re preparing for a war against India.”

US looking to increase raid inside Pakistani territory

Washington: The US defense office while speaking to the Los Angeles Times said that they believed that raid inside Pakistani territory at important to rout out the safe haven of the terrorists who rest and train in these areas. A military officer, who requested anonymity said, “You can’t allow a haven. You have to get to the areas that they rest, relax and train.”

Russia likely to get punished for war against Georgia

Washington (Reuters): The Bush Administration is likely to slap Russia by curtailing the nuclear civilian pact with the socialist country which was aimed to end the cold war restriction imposed on the trade that would have benefited both the countries. Russian could have got access to the US nuclear market and the US companies would have got access to Russian uranium fields.

US – India nuclear deal – no consensus achieved

Vienna (Reuters): The 45 nation’s nuclear suppliers group that met to decide the fate of India – US unclear deal adjourned without reaching a decision. The members though welcomed India’s pledge to follow the guidelines of non proliferation agreement that the country has not signed, yet they require India to do more to secure the deal.

West once again receives threat of attacks by the Al-Qaeda

Cairo (AP): Al-Qaeda once again threatened the west for more attacks if the West resorted to more insults to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). In a video posted online by Al-Qaeda to pay tribute to the suicide bomber who bombed the Danish embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan Al-Qaeda’s spokesman asked the west to refrain from insulting or face more such attacks.
