The Plot

Like most romantic comedies, the plot of ‘Baby Mama,’ is quite simple. The film is about Kate Holbrook (Fey) who is single, successful, almost forty, and in desperate need of a child of her own. After trying many times, she gets tired and decides to hire a surrogate mother, Angie Ostrowiski (Poehler). When Angie loses her home, she has no where to go so Kate takes her in. what happens next, is a series of mishaps between the two women. The performances between the two protagonists, is amazing, their scenes are the highlight of the film. The supporting cast does a good job as well.

Blu-Ray Quality

Like previously mentioned, having watched the movie in theaters, I was eager to see how the film translated onto blu-ray. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Video quality is crystal clear and audio quality supports it flawlessly. Provided you have a surround sound system the experience in watching the film at home is identical to watching it in theaters.

Special Features

While the film only features an audio commentary, it does the job.

Overall, if you are a fan of romantic comedies, check ‘Baby Mama’ out. I guarantee you will fall off your seat laughing. If you have a blu-ray player, rent it on blu-ray and you will not be disapppointed!
