“Million Dollar Baby” actress Hilary Swank has benign growth removed

Los Angeles, California (CaymanMama.com) — Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank underwent surgery to remove a benign growth on Thursday and is now recuperating , a spokesman told Reuters in a recent report.
In a statement to the media, the actress’s manager, Jason Weinberg said, “She was experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth.
Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation.”
Swank’s spokesman declined to give any additional details about the procedure. It was said that she is recuperating at her home
Swank, 34, won Oscars for her highly acclaimed roles both in the 2004 Clint Eastwood boxing movie “Million Dollar Baby” and the 1999 transgender drama “Boys Don’t Cry.”
She also starred in the drama “Freedom Writers,” and the romantic comedy “P.S. I Love You”. Swank will play the starring role in the upcoming movie “Amelia,” based on the life of female aviator Amelia Earhart.
