Google Phone to be priced at $199

For those of you who have been eager to buy a smartphone as visually breathtaking as the At&T’s Apple iPhone, Verizon’s LG Voyager, or Sprint’s Samsung Instinct, but prefer T-Mobile’s cellphone service, you are finally in luck!

(Dallas, Texas- CaymanMama) The first phone to use Google’s software ‘Android’, will be unveiled on September 23rd, and will be manufactured by HTC Corp. The release of the phone, will be a milestone in the smartphone market, mainly because one of the most widely known search engines, ‘Google’, has their name linked to it.

The starting price for the phone will be $199, just like the Apple iPhone 3G. One of the biggest complains about the iPhone 3G,is that the data plan can be quite pricey, however with the Google phone this should not be a problem. T-Mobile has decided to market a new data plan that will have wallet-friendly prices.

Now that the new Google Phone has been announced, and will be unveiled soon, one wonders whether or not sales will beat the 5 million Iphone 3G’s that have been sold in this quarter alone. Only time can tell.
