The debate between Sara Palin and Senator Biden revolved around pleasing the US high ups around Pakistan and the assistance US had been giving the country to wage war against the militants.

Washington (AFP): To meet the urgent unexpected refugee and migration needs in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Georgia, the US President George W. Bush released US$8.3 million aid yesterday. The funds so release will be funneled through governmental, non governmental and international organizations.
PML-Q making efforts in joining the government - Pockets of PML-Q leaders getting dry
Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League (Q) leaders are paving ways to join the coalition government. Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain said that most of the PML-Q members are favoring joining the government. The decision to this regard will be taken by the party’s chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
The PML-Q MNAs are sitting out of the government and would be missing the chance of making illegal money or might be facing a threat by the Punjab government for stopping their illicit activities of living on the public funds, they are trying to play with the legal channels and would be asking Mr. Zardari to get the Punjab Chief Minister disqualified by the Punjab courts and give the chief minister’s position to PML-Q leader.
The Chaudhry’s sided with Pervaiz Musharraf giving him all out support to remain in power. The people of Pakistan threw them out during the general election in February this year and ones again they are seeking shelter of the President of Pakistan to bounce back into power.
A shameful trend of the Chaudhry’s in Punjab - Pakistan as they are now so used to remain in power and make their living from eating up public funds and gaining financial advantages and getting their big loans written off, a price Musharraf paid for gaining their support during his presidency.
