El Paso, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — Apple’s MacBooks are sleek, simple and attractive gadgets that have virtually reinvented the way laptop computers are viewed and used. In recent news, Apple has loudly announced their next event to be held on Tuesday at 10 am in San Francisco (the third such event in five months) generating buzz.
Apple’s invite to the media proudly declared, “The spotlight turns to notebooks.”
The sleek new model of the famous and widespread MacBook is tough, made from a single block of aluminum. Mix that with an advertised price that is sure to impress, just shy of $1,000.
Apple has gained momentous popularity with their iPhone adding to the menu of high-tech business and personal solutions including laptops such as the older iBooks, PowerBooks, or the newer MacBooks. They have been called “the sexiest products in the company’s already sexy lineup.”
It seems though, if you wade through the fluff and buzz, that Apple is merely putting a new twist on an old idea by pushing the idea of how the MacBook is made.
According to a Yahoo technology blogger, “Rumors about the “Brick”—now widely thought to be a new, “revolutionary” manufacturing process that allows Apple to carve its MacBook shells out of a single piece of aluminum—are everywhere, not to mention a truckload of leaked photos.”
In light of the heightened financial crisis, is a discounted laptop with all the same features enough to make you buy? They are sleek, fast and completely user-friendly but times like these call for a bit of penny pinching. At a lower price of $899, will you rather buy the “new” MacBook or pay the rent?
