Obama’s biggest supporter will.i.am will debut his celebratory video of the win on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Friday

Los Angeles, California (CaymanMama.com) — Oprah Winfrey has been one of President-elect Barack Obama’s biggest, loudest and most influential supporters.

Staying true to form, Oprah will debut a new will.i.am video celebrating Obama’s presidential win, albeit delayed, on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Friday.

As per a report from the Associated Press, the leader of the pop group Black Eyed Peas had said “It’s A New Day” would originally make it’s world debut on dipdive.com on Wednesday, the day after the highly publicized election. Will.i.am’s publicist now notes that the Chicago-based show will debut the clip on Oprah’s talk show accompanied by other celebrities.

Dipdive.com will post the video on their site later in the day.

Will.i.am became a vocal and instrumental part of 2008 Obama campaign after his moving video “Yes We Can” debuted in February to millions of online views. Part of the allure was the appearance of a distinct handful of Hollywood actors and musical artists including Ryan Phillippe, John Legend, and Scarlet Johansson. The stars appeared reciting lines from an Obama speech set to will.i.am’s music.
