Obama surprises Biden with cupcakes to celebrate his birthday

El Paso, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — For Vice President-elect Joe Biden’s 66th birthday, President-elect and friend Barack Obama surprised him with special birthday cheer.
According to Us Magazine, after a weekly lunch at a transition office in Chicago, Obama surprised Biden with a dozen sugary-sweet cupcakes lit with candles and joked, “You’re 12 years old!” Biden turns 66 today.
Staff told The Associated Press that Biden took the age joke in stride and laughed about it before enjoying one of his birthday cupcakes.
“Maybe in dog years!” Biden joked back.
Obama honored his friend and No. 2 as he led the staff in singing Biden “Happy Birthday” and then presented him with gift from their home team: a White Sox baseball cap, a Bears cap and a bucket of Garrett’s popcorn.
