Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz granted Spears’ father and conservator of all private and professional affairs, equaling $16,000 or about $75 per hour
Shreveport, Louisiana (CaymanMama.com) — Whoever said money can’t buy love is wrong and many fans of pop princess Britney Spears smell a conspiracy coming from the Los Angeles court system.
According to a recent report by the Associated Press, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz granted Spears’ father and conservator of all private and professional affairs, equaling $16,000 or about $75 per hour.
“For helping his daughter through her turbulent period, Jamie Spears on Monday was awarded an additional $51,000 payout, reflecting an increase in his monthly payments since he took over his 27-year-old daughter’s affairs in February,” the report said.
When the conservatorship was put in place, Jamie Spears recieved $10,000 a month for his supervision over his 27-year old daughter, but in addition to the increase, Goetz agreed to give him backpay.
Daddy Spears was also awarded an additional $1,200 monthly payment so he can “maintain and office”, which the Commissioner explained was justified by Spears’ efforts in guiding Britney’s personal life back to center stage.
Britney’s brother, Brian Spears, was granted a whopping $200,000 of his sister’s money “for services he rendered prior to the time the conservatorship was established.”
