South Korean techno-giant Samsung Electronics is the next to unveil a new modern marvel on the market with what they are touting as the worlds’ slimmest LCD (liquid crystal display) television

Topeka, Kansas (CaymanMama.com) — Modern technology has taken everyday life and expedited, colorized and minimized it by leaps and bounds. Telephones, radios and computers have gotten faster, smaller and smarter.

South Korean techno-giant Samsung Electronics is the next to unveil a new modern marvel on the market with what they are touting as the worlds’ slimmest LCD (liquid crystal display) television.

The newest television to excite couch potatoes across the world only measures 0.26 inch thick, making the prodcut thinner than any other existing television set on the market, and even slimmer than most mobile cellular handsets, Samsung boasted in a statement.

The Samsung TV’s thickness is a mere one seventh of the company’s “Bordeaux 850″ LCD TVs, which currently holds the record for the thinnest on the market, the company said.

According to the AFP, “The new product, which adopts an LED (light emitting diode) backlighting system, will be on display at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11, Samsung added.”
