New Orleans, Louisiana (CaymanMama.com) — Britney is back and her body is better than ever after new photos emerged of the pop star’s rockin’ new body following a tumultuous year of junk food and drama.
Spears, 27, flaunted her killer abs in a new tour rehearsal photo posted on her Web site Friday. In other photos taken that same day, Spears worked with contributing choreographers JaQuel Knight and Jose.
The singer successfully shed 20 pounds in recent months, bringing her famous waistline back to what it was in her hay day, which was all part of a two-hour cardio-and-strength-training session three times a week (in addition to dance rehearsals), Us Weekly recently reported.
“It’s a nonstop workout,” Bally Total Fitness trainer Steven Boggs explained.
Spears had to revamp her diet, consuming 1,100 to 1,200 calories per day with the help of a meal-delivery plan from Sunfare.
“I have had to work hard at getting [my body] back to where it used to be,” Britney said in Glamour magazine’s January issue. “I used to be obsessed with working out … But I can’t get motivated right now because I’m so focused on my music.”
